I have been an avid animal lover all of my life. I went to Northwestern State University and graduated in 2005 with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. I have worked in veterinary medicine since 2005 in roles ranging from ICU nurse, surgical technician, and even vet tech at the Zoo.
In 2009 I recognized the need for quality pet care and opened Peace of Mind Pet Sitting and provided care for pets in their homes where they are most comfortable.
I have always been interested in training (especially my dogs and horses) and began shadowing some local dog trainers and worked locally for one of the top dog trainers in the area.
I have completely shifted my focus to dog training. I offer basic obedience and off leash obedience.
I love increasing the bond between a dog and its family. The better trained a dog is, the more freedom it gets. It is now my goal to help as many dogs as possible learn good manners and be happy members of their family.
I treat each dog as if it were my own and the dogs I train become like family.
